Norris discussed

City Council’s votes Monday night

related to the Meadowcreek Parkway Interchange project.  Council endorsed two design concepts which will return for public hearings later this year.  Norris also spoke about an upcoming work session related to the future of the City’s pool and recreation facilities, including the possibility of a new YMCA being built in the City.

Sally Thomas discussed the County’s plans to welcome a delegation of 6 visitors from our Italian sister cities, Poggio a Caiano and Prato, Italy.  Thomas also detailed some of the reasons for increased water and sewer rates, including the need for

a $19 million replacement of the 4-mile Meadow Creek Sewer Interceptor
