Christopher Ali is the Pioneers Chair in Telecommunications at Penn State University and served on the board of Charlottesville Tomorrow from 2020 to 2023. He is the author of the 2021 book Farm Fresh Broadband (MIT Press) and of the forthcoming book, "If These Maps Could Talk: Tales from the Digital Divide.”
