Peter Thompson moved to Charlottesville to attend UVA 48 years ago and found a community to spend the rest of his life in. After an initial career in the restaurant business, he transitioned to nonprofit management including 24 years as executive director of The Center at Belvedere. He finds purpose and joy in volunteering, running, and enjoying the local arts and foodie scenes. He has served on the board of Charlottesville Tomorrow since 2024.
