On August 16, 2006, the Policy Board of the


Metropolitan Planning Organization


held their monthly meeting [

agenda

]. Topics included the work plan for the formation of a new Regional Transit Authority and an amendment to the 2006 Transportation Improvement Program .  Charlottesville Tomorrow has produced two recordings of this event.





This first recording begins with matters from the public, followed by a presentation by the MPO’s Transportation Coordinator, Kellem Agnew Emanuele, updating the board on research related to public transit options. This is followed by a discussion of issues related to the Regional Transit Authority led by MPO Chairman David Slutzky.
