On February 28, 2006, the Albemarle County Planning Commission held a worksession to discuss

recommendations pertaining to Rural Areas ordinances

and specifically proposals for clustering of subdivisions, phasing of development, and the public review/input process.  The Planning Commissions recommendations on this topic will be forwarded to the Board of Supervisors for consideration.

Charlottesville Tomorrow has produced two audio podcasts of this meeting.  In this first podcast, the Planning Commissioners discuss the impact ordinance changes might have on conservation easements with invited guests:
