Check out our mobile site vs. the Texas Tribune... We could look like that with your support of our Kickstarter campaign! Credit: Help us get to mobile awesomeness!

Thanks for reading Charlottesville Tomorrow. We have a big favor to ask!

We are in the last days of our campaign to raise funds to optimize our website for our growing number of mobile users. We’ve met with our programmers and they’re ready to eliminate the pinching and poking and transform our mobile presence into something that will really engage our community in vital local news.

There’s just one step remaining – achieving our Kickstarter fundraising goal of $15,000.

Today we’re reaching out to ask for your help. If we’re successful, we’ll begin the upgrades this summer and by fall you’ll be able to enjoy our award winning news on a simple and elegant mobile interface.

As with all Kickstarter “crowd funding” campaigns, ours is an all-or-nothing proposition. If we don’t reach our entire Kickstarter goal of $15,000, we receive nothing. We have only until 3 p.m. this Thursday, July 2, to reach our goal. So please visit our Kickstarter page today to make a pledge!  Any amount is much appreciated and gets us closer to our goal.

Want to take our newly designed mobile site for a test drive? Visit our friends at the Texas Tribune. It just so happens our websites are built on the same platform. The mobile interface Texas Tribune readers experience is what we want to provide to our readers in Charlottesville-Albemarle.

Please make your tax deductible contribution to our campaign today to help us take mobile to the next level!  Thank you.
