Candace Williams is the founder of consultancy Legendary AveNew LLC and created Mending Hearts Parenting Support Group while she was incarcerated. She is driven by her journey of transformation after serving 16 years with the Virginia Department of Corrections. Through her lived experience, she advocates for incarcerated women, mothers and caregivers, creating spaces for healing, support and second chances. As a Peer Recovery Specialist and mentor, she is committed to ensuring every woman feels seen, heard and empowered to rebuild her life.
